Rabaconda Mini Tyre Changer
The Mini Tyre Changer is Rabaconda's small-wheel specific companion to the Dirt Bike Tyre Changer. Think Robin to Batman. It's purpose-built for the little tyres that no one signs up to change voluntarily, designed to handle 10 to 17 inch tyres with axle sizes between 10 and 24mm, which covers many kids' dirt bikes like 50, 65 and 85s as well as many popular pit bike models.
Two spindles ship in the box, a 10mm and a 15mm, plus a 20mm adapter sleeve, so the full 10-24mm hub range is covered the day it arrives. Working height is 28 inches, designed for changing tyres standing up. The wheel supports clear a 200mm sprocket on a 10-inch wheel, meaning the standard 49T rear sprocket on KTM SX-E 5, GasGas MC-E and Husqvarna EE bikes fits between the supports without removal.
It works with whatever's inside the tyre: tubeless, air tubes, tyre balls, mousse bibs, Tubliss. All of it.
It assembles without tools and breaks down to fit into a small carry bag for storage or transport.

What wheels does it fit?
10-17" wheels with a hub inner diameter of 10-24mm. Unlike the Dirt Bike Tyre Changer, it's designed to work with spoked, cast and forged wheels.
How is it different from the Dirt Bike Tyre Changer?
Mostly wheel size range and wheel type: the Mini covers 10-17" wheels (vs. 16-21" for the Dirt changer) and works with cast/forged wheels via plastic wheel support pads, not just spoked wheels. Most of the actual tyre work is still done with tyre irons and the bead breaker, the same way as the Dirt changer.
Can it handle full-size MX tyres?
No, the wheel supports don't accommodate the larger diameters (the frame is sized to fit the compact carry bag), and the wheel supports are narrower than the Dirt Bike Tyre Changer's.
Will it scratch cast or painted rims since it uses tyre irons?
There's some risk, as with any tyre-iron-based change on a painted rim. Plastic rim protectors can help reduce it, though some find them a bit fussy to use in practice.
Will it fit electric mini bikes like the KTM SX-E5, GasGas MC-E or Husqvarna EE?
Yes, the maximum sprocket diameter that clears the wheel supports on a 10" wheel is 200mm, and the standard 49T rear sprocket on the KTM SX-E 5, GasGas MC-E 3/5 and Husqvarna EE 3/5 fits within that.
What tyre types does it work with?
Tubeless, air tubes, tyre balls, mousse bibs and Tubliss.
How much does it weigh?
11kg (24 lbs), excluding the carry bag: the lightest changer in the range.
Any assembly or operating quirks specific to the Mini?
One: always work from the front of the tyre changer when mounting a tyre. The manual specifically calls out not to stand at the side of the machine during mounting, unlike some of the other changers.
Will it work with a Honda Grom or other 12mm-hub small bike?
Yes. The Mini Tyre Changer covers hub sizes 10-24mm, which includes a Grom's 12mm hub, and wheel sizes 10-17", which covers the Grom's 12" wheels. It's the right tool for these small-hub bikes since the Street and Dirt changers' spindles aren't built for hubs that small.
Does it work on cast wheels like the Honda CBR125R, not just spoked?
Yes. Unlike the Dirt Bike Tyre Changer, the Mini is built to handle spoked, cast and forged wheels in the 10-17" range, so bikes with small cast wheels, like the CBR125R, are a good fit as long as the hub is within 10-24mm.
Do I need to buy anything else to get started?
The two included spindles (10mm and 15mm) plus the 20mm adapter sleeve cover the full 10-24mm range out of the box, so most riders don't need to buy anything extra. We do recommend picking up bead grease if you don't already have a tyre lubricant on hand.
